JPEGStore has been written with some very simple but hopefully effective ideas in mind, but no product is right for everybody, no matter what any salesmen tell you. Here's the basic pros and cons - maybe this will help you decide whether JPEGstore is right for you:

Pros
(system):
- Inexpensive to set up & run
- Quick setup
- Very stable
- Virtually maintenance free
- Uses IPTC image text data so is compatible with many other image storage systems and publishing houses/newspaper systems.

(cosmetic):
- Very fast to use, even with moderately large quantities of images
- Intuitive interface
- Simple to use and administer
- Customisable Logo
- Customisable Style sheet
- Customisable textual content


Cons:
- Currently only supports JPG filetype
- Limited search functions
- IPTC usage currently limited to 5 fields
